Olutayo's passion for education began at a young age. As a child, she witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education in her own community. Inspired by her experiences, she dedicated herself to promoting equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their background or circumstances.
After completing her A-levels at Kings College London, Olutayo pursued a degree in Access to Higher Education at WEB Christ the Redeemer College London. The Access to HE program provides students with the necessary skills and qualifications to progress to university-level study. Olutayo excelled in her studies, achieving top marks in all her modules.
Following her graduation, Olutayo enrolled in a Health and Social Care degree at Imperial College London. Imperial College is renowned for its world-leading research and teaching in these fields. Olutayo's time at Imperial was a transformative experience. She was exposed to the latest research and theories and had the opportunity to work alongside leading academics and practitioners.
Upon completing her degree, Olutayo secured a position as a Social Worker at St Mary's Hospital, London. In this role, she provides support and guidance to vulnerable patients and their families. Olutayo's experience and expertise in both health and social care make her an invaluable asset to her team.
Olutayo's commitment to access to higher education and social justice is evident in all aspects of her work. She is actively involved in outreach programs aimed at encouraging underrepresented groups to pursue their dreams of higher education. She also volunteers at a local youth club, where she mentors young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
