Denver Extends Playoff Series Lead Over Minnesota
Nuggets Take Game 3, Now Lead 3-0
Denver Dominates in Minnesota, Easily Covers Spread and Over
The Denver Nuggets extended their playoff series lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves to 3-0 Wednesday night with a 122-109 victory in Minneapolis. Denver has possessed the greatest odds to escape the Western Conference for the better part of the season. They easily covered their -45 spread and the Over 2045 hit by 5 points.
That's an outcome Denver will accept and one Minnesota hasn't found a way to avoid. The Nuggets have now won six straight games against the Timberwolves this season, including the three playoff contests.
Nikola Jokic led the way for Denver with 30 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Jamal Murray added 24 points, while Aaron Gordon chipped in with 18.
Karl-Anthony Towns had 30 points and 10 rebounds for Minnesota, while Anthony Edwards added 21 points.
The Nuggets can close out the series in Game 4 on Friday night in Minneapolis.
