Chris Evans on Returning as Human Torch: "It's a Character I Love"

Chris Evans, the actor behind Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), has recently opened up about the possibility of reprising his role as Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch, in a future MCU project.

Evans first portrayed Human Torch in the 2005 and 2007 Fantastic Four films. While those films were not part of the MCU, fans have speculated about Evans returning to the role in the MCU's expanding multiverse.

In a recent interview, Evans expressed his fondness for the Human Torch character and his willingness to return to the role if the opportunity presented itself.

"Human Torch is a character I love," Evans said. "I had a great time playing him in the Fantastic Four films, and I think there's still a lot of potential for that character to be explored in the MCU."

Evans also acknowledged the fan support for his return as Human Torch, saying, "I'm always grateful for the fans who continue to show their love for the character and for my portrayal of him. It's something that means a lot to me."

While Evans' comments suggest that he would be open to returning as Human Torch, it remains to be seen whether Marvel Studios has any plans to bring the character into the MCU.

However, with the MCU's growing multiverse and the introduction of characters from alternate universes, it's certainly possible that we could see Chris Evans' Human Torch alongside the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, and Spider-Man one day.
